I've mentioned this elsewhere, but received no response. I also have a support ticket outstanding - but would appreciate any help I can get.

I'm having problems uploading my collection.
Everything was working fine with the Beta version until apprx 2-3 builds ago. It's also not working with the current official release.

I'm able to log on via the upload button but it gets halfway through the processing collection bar and I get the following error message:

Access violation at address 00AAF60D in module 'dvdpro.exe'. Read of address 00000008.

I've done a system clean. Checked my firewall settings. Uninstalled the Beta in case of conflict. Still not working.

Any suggestions?

By system clean, do you mean database repair? If not, you might try that.

I meant I'd done a cleanup on my computer.

But, I had also done database repair as well.

did you try to upload with firewall off? or in safe mode with network capabilities?

create a new empty database
download this One profile from the Netherlands locality: 8714025501191 (The Mission)
Upload this profile, don't submit the profile: cancel it. Did that work, if so
Change the profile and upload it, don't submit the profile: cancel it

That almost worked, Giga.

I followed your suggestions and it worked (although I failed to cancel it quickly enough so I now have an online collection of The Mission!!  )

I then decided to use some initiative and copied my existing db into the newly created one.

However, when I tried to upload I got the same error message.

Okay, now i figured out you have problems uploading your online collection? and not a profile to the online DB.
Try this: delete the new DB.
Backup your local DB to a NEW backup, don't use your regular backup!
don't use the full option
use the Cusum Backup and select only profiles
when this is done, restore this backup in the new database, and try to upload that.
If that works there is something wrong in your local database, and have to figure out what.

Didn't work with the profile-only backup.

I also tried a full backup to the new db and that didn't work either.

more work:
CSVExport your collection with that plugin.
convert this (spreadsheet) so you have only the UPC/EAN in one file
use this plugin Import UPC List to import the UPC/EAN in a new database.
See if that uploads your collection to online.

Other Idea: study the CSV export file in a spreadsheet programme for irregular data, could be a problem somewhere there. However can't remember in what context this was

More Other idea: Ask Ken If he will look at your backup with the profiles only.
If Ken agrees to have a look at your local collection: you can use this site: http://rapidshare.com/ to upload the file and provide Ken the link to that upload. If there things in that you want to keep private don't post the link on the forum
Safest way would be with the Contact US at the bottom of this page.

Any network issues on your end?

@cceller
Welcome to the forum. Can you be more specifique?
Refresh Online Profile List?
Online Test Connection?
Download a profile?
Upload a profile?
Uploading your collection to online?
Downloading your collection?
Only with the 3.5 and not the 3.1?
