installation problems

I just got a samsung omnia and was installing the program. When it processes the CAB file it says installation was unsuccessful. I have tried running the setup program several time to both storage and main memory, rebooting and running the cab from the device and i get the same message everytime. any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Need more info.

What is your Desk Top OS? Do you have MS .NET Framework 2.0 installed? Do you have at least MS Active Sync 4.2 intalled?

Sorry, forgot. Vista (32) operating system with the latest mobile device center. I am fairly certain that i have a newer version of .net than that provided with the setup program. I have let it try to install the .net from the setup and it comes up unsuccessful, also.

Are you ensuring that you are attempting to install as Administrator?

I have run as administrator every time. Also, just reinstalled .net straight from microsoft and still gives same message every time.

Finallly, got it to work. I pulled up the add programs from mobile center, checked the box and hit ok and it worked. Seemes to have been some small problem when the installer was pulling up the add programs.
