Apologies if this has been covered. Made a cursory search but didn't find it.

I have been trying to keep the lead post in my plugin threads more or less updated to reflect the latest release. It seems that I have lost the ability to edit posts earlier than some amount of time from the present. Yet I've also noticed that some pinned threads, such as the collected feature requests continue to be edited by the author. Is there a process of requesting this restriction to be removed on an individual basis, or is there some rule about it?

If not, I hereby request that threads authored by developers in the Plugins Forum be exempt. Ken "knows where I live," and presumably I have already passed some level of additional accountability for correct behavior.
