I don't know if this has been requested before or not, but...

When we add a new cast member to a profile it's placed at the bottom of the current list.  This is cumbersome if a new cast member needs to be added near the top of a long cast list (such as a TV season), so I'd like to request that in a future update new cast members may be added, not at the bottom of the list, but inserted above or below the highlighted entry.

Not exactly what you are asking for here... but did you know that you can drag a name from the left hand column and drop them anywhere in the list on the right hand side column. Just click the name... holding the button down... drag it to the exact spot and drop them there by releasing the button. That is what I do for TV Series and such.

No, I didn't.  Thanks.

Just be careful, because the selection can slip up or down a couple/few names.

Really? I been doing it this way for a very long time (a couple years maybe?) and I never seen that problem.

No kidding?  That's odd.  I wonder if I'm not especially clumsy, then.  LOL

I also find with drag'n'drop into cast that when I switch to crew my panel jumps all over the place. I have to save the profile before I can edit the crew.

The same does NOT happen if I edit crew and then switch to cast.

It's very odd!

This happens to me all the time!

A very annoying bug!

I guess I never "grew into my feet."  But you know what they say about guys with big feet...

"Big shoes."

Also, if is a "New" entry, you can go through the first part to add to the DB, but cancel the role assignment.  It will add the actor, then you can put it where you want. Is especially helpful on very long cast listings.l
