I was working on the profile for South Pacific and came across a George Hall.

I looked him up on IMDB and that is his only credit. According to IMDB he was born in 1907 and died in 1971.

There is also another actor by that same name, Born in 1916 and died in 2002.

I can find several sites that list the 1916 George Hall. But I'm running into trouble trying to find another site for the 1907 George Hall.

I even did a google search for "George Hall" "South Pacific" and there appears to be a real person by that name who served in the South Pacific during the war.

The problem could be that the 1916 George Hall did appear in the movie South Pacific and IMDB is wrong. Because the 1916 Hall could easily have acted in the 1958 movie.
