Hi everyone..

I have just moved my DVD Profiler database from a Windows XP laptop to a new Windows 7 machine. It installed fine and is working great except for one problem.

Whenever I attempt to change an entry in the studios/media company section by selecting an entry from the drop down list it pops up the following error message:

Access violation at address [random string of characters] in module 'dvdpro.exe'. Read of address [random string of characters]

I have done a full database repair but the problem persists.

Anyone know how to fix this.

Thanks

I don't get the access violation every time, maybe only 50% of the time.  It has happened with every version i've used in the last three years.  Of course now the program detects it and offers to send an email with the error details to Ken & Co.  I sent him 6-8 last night while adding some new profiles.

I seem to recall with version 3.5 i found if i tabbed my way into the fields instead of mouse clicking into them i didn't have the problem.  I haven't tested that again recently.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!
