| Posted: | | | | Looks awsome, but the only problem is I have no clue how to use the ipod. I am attempting to get the progrm from my laptop to my iposd touch but I am lost. If anybody knows about ipods let me know. I almost dowloaded on to my ipod from my Ipod but I was afraid I would be charged twice. |

| Posted: | | | | You need to purchase the IOS version from the App Store. If you have done that, then the next step depends on whether or not you have a database on your desktop. It sounds like you do. If you start up the program on the iPod touch, it will walk you through connecting your desktop to it. If you are connecting to your desktop, you need to set it up to be accessible through Wi-Fi or over 3G. You can do part of this by setting up sharing in DVD Profiler desktop under Tools then Options then click on Sharing.

| Posted: | | | | I got it at the app store. I know I have it because when I try and get it again it tells me that I already have it and can download it for free. It is on a desktop. I will try and figure out how to do the rest of what you said. I have no exsperiance with Ipods so that is most of the problem. |

If you set up sharing on your desktop, and then run the app from the Ipod, it will try to walk you through synching up your collection that is on your desktop to your iPod. If you have specific questions as you walk through that, post them here, I am sure folks will help out. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

Are you trying to get DVD Profiler for iOS on your iPod or are you trying to sync your database between the desktop program and the app ? I am trying to get my list from either online or computer on to the ipod. I just found the screen. |

Host is either the computer name or IP of the PC running DVD Profiler. Both should be displayed at the bottom of the DVD Profiler screen. Password is the one you set in DVD Profiler for Windows. If you didn't assign a password, leave that field blank. If you still have problems connecting, make sure no firewall is blocking communications between the programs. If you use a router, make sure to open the port the app uses. |
