There are 2 entries for this TV movie or what ever it is.

Entry 1 : Blade House of Chthon

Entry 2 : Blade House of Chthon UNRATED

Both use the same cover image, BUT the Entry 1 image is a crap load better than the UNRATED image used. Is there a way to use the same image on both for Quality reason if not correctness DB side vs personal edits ?

Download both profiles then just copy the image you want (right click on the image and select copy) and paste it into the other profile image (right click on the image you want to replace and select paste).

If you want to lock it so it will never be replaced right click on the padlock icon in General Info and select Cover Image at the bottom of the list; though of course if someone does upload an improved one that's correct you won't get it if you do this.

As you say, if the covers for the two are not absolutely identical (eg different barcodes) then they shouldn't be uploaded even if they look nicer

You can put a picture of whatever you want wherever you want locally, just don't try and submit a wrong image even if the only difference is missing the word "unrated", it's still different.
Like Vol said, lock it down so it doesn't change on you. If a better image is then submitted by someone, you'll get a chance to vote on it. When you vote and if you like the new one, you can just unlock yours then and all will be fine.

It already has the "wrong" image.

Take a look at the Profiles in the DB.

Had a look; they both look like they have the right image, ie the UPC code matches the profile, though obviously (as you say) one is a lot lower quality than the other.
However they are not identical (not just the UPCs but on the front cover the colour of the LA Times quote for one) so any replacement of one cover with the other should be kept local (as discussed).

FWIW I belive the one with the lower res cover (065935808725) should actually be changed to Canadian locality since (unlike the other one and despite the UNRATED on the front cover) I can see it has a Canadian rating on the back and I also note the RRP is in Candian dollars... and it does have a rating in the profile despite being 'unrated'...

I haven't looked at these as I have the TV series set where the first disc is House of Chthon. Which UPC is bad quality though? I can get a great hi-res scan of UPC 794043109843 from r1db.com. Just noticed all those covers I posted way back when have led to more credits than I'll probably ever use myself, so I can use them to try and help the database.

If that's the UPC that needs scans, let me know and I'll fix em for you and everyone else.

Opps, just lookled at them and the one with the small scans is absolutely Canadian, you can tell by the Alliance logo on front. Plus the UPC brings up 2 versions, a US version or a Canada/Quebec one. Can anyone say if a US version even does exist? I've seen many UPC's shared like this so it could be true, it just doesn't feel true in this case, esp. with taht Alliance logo on front.

Guys thanks for taking a look at it.

As to the UPC issue, I don't have a disk case as mine came as a Multi pack ( 4 movies 2 disksA/B sided )

It would be nice to have a better scan if it can be worked out.

Sometimes in cases like this I'll take another version that isn't the same disc ID and use it for a child profile. Just mark it as such so you don't contribute anything to a disc you don't have.
Or just download both profiles, copy and paste the good covers from the good scans, delete the profile you don't want anymore, lock the images for local. Those Canadian versions are rare and few people ever have them around here it seems, methinks if you wait for better scans on that, you may be waiting for a very long time.
