| | Posted: | | | | I have a number of DVD via Tai Seng. They all seem to be repackages of original "Honk Kong Discs, with USA? packaging. Some even come with the Honk Kong rating.
Are these truly USA localities, or should they more appropriately be Hong Kong?

| | Posted: | | | | If you ignore the repackaging, release date in the USA, and US SRP, you may of course add them with the original Hong Kong UPC into the Hong Kong locality.
But if you want the repackage cover or slip cover, if they have added something like this, or you want to track the US release date, SRP, or rating, you have to use the US locality.
The media company as well may be different depending on the locality. |

As to the DVDs sometimes having HK ratings logo, those are entirely due to laziness or overlooked in quickly porting over HK releases to US. | | | | My Home Theater |
