| | Posted: | | | | I'm always coming across titles that I own in doubles ( i.e.) today I am looking at Rear Window, last week was Miracle on 34th Street, and again I see that my older version of Rear Window ( Hitchcock), is chock full - double the size in both cast and crew against the newer 2008 editon of Rear Window that only has a smattering of actual on screen credits . I prefer if the longer cast and crew was (at one time) approved (prior to march 2007) in the DataBank here in Invelos Profiler at a balanced keel, be Grandfathered over to the Newer DVD on line here in the data base .. , But we all know that won't happen unless the cast and crew is documented.. AND I don't always have a lot of time on my hands to investigate and track down and visually view the information that is not data mined from other sources ..
We could even submit titles that we feel may be data scraped and mined from IMDB as I'm sure Rear Window is ......
and if I remove uncredited I'll be asked why I am removing approved credits....
So I propose - New here on the Boards : ( ta daa..)
A JOB Jar of titles to be placed for all to see and lets see how BIG this project would be become in the days ahead..
I'll start off with the First title to be 'Looked At" - ( please feel free to add more of your own)..

Actually, I'm very much afraid it could and does happen, though I'm not in favor of adding any undocumented cast to any profile. I would love to see the IMDB mined data cleaned up, but it will be a very difficult task because some people will object to removing any cast unless you can document that they were not in the film, and that can be most difficult. --------------- |
