I would like to suggest the program should keep each event exactly as added and should never remove events automatically, especially those with notes.

I'm trying to keep track of watched episodes of TV series by the history feature. Every time I watch an episode, I add a "watched event" to the profile history and fill the episode number and title into the notes field. In this way it happens frequently that there is more than one "watched event" per day for the same user.

This procedure works fine and the history grows.... up to that moment I edit the profile e.g. add a personal note. When I press the OK Button in the "Edit Profile" window dvd-profiler is purging the event history and stores only one (the latest) "watched event" per day for the same user.

Thanks for reading and trying to unterstand.

Hello MaddinF,

I consider this behavior a bug and submitted a posting in Desktop Technical Support, let's see what happens.

So did I in the first place and opened a support ticket. Invelos support told me, the program stores only one watched event per day for the same user but possibly this could be changed in a future version and I should write a repuest in the Desktop Feature Requests Forum - so here am I...

I seldomly (if ever) watch a movie more then once in one day... for me a TV Show/shorts disc don't get marked as watch until I watch every episode or short on that disc. But I can see how this would be useful to other people... so...

You got my vote.

+1 for the suggestion and for Mithi's report of it as a bug:  if the program is not to support more than one per day, it should not accept them.  Recording the event just to dump it later is kludgy.
