| | Posted: | | | | I’ve just audited Deep Red (5027035006277) on DVD. This has two, one sided discs (in a single keep case within a slip cover), which share the same UPC. The first disc carries the Director’s Cut (plus some extras) and the second the International Theatrical Cut (plus some extras). It’s already in the database but only as a pre-release with minimal information. This is the first time I’ve had a go at one like this, so before I contribute anything I wanted to check I’ve done it right.
I’ve treated the second disc as a bonus feature film, audited it all and given it its own child profile attached to the first. Is this correct?
If I contribute the first disc, will it automatically pull the second in for people to vote on too (some of the details are different, so it’s more than simply a clone with a different Edition), or do I need to contribute each individually?
Anything else?

Deal it as normal single movie with different cuts.
One profile, no childs.
Running time from longest version.
That the movie is on a two-sided disc is just shown in the disc section. |

This would not at this time be considered a Bonus feature film. The issue you describe originated with T2: UE and it was decided that Profiler would deal witrh the longest version of the release. Bonus Feature films are considered as an example to be something such as Ben-Hur(1959) + Ben-Hur(1925 Silent) two different films w2hich happen to share the same title but6 are completely different even though they are in the same package. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!!

| | Posted: | | | | Hello. Thanks for this people. There’s been another very similar thread running with a similar range of answers too. I was pretty sure it wasn’t a Box Set, but the description of what a Bonus Feature Film is was a bit more difficult to determine. For now I think I’ll just do the submission with the second version listed as an Other and keep the child profile information locally. There’re no issues in this case with Rating or Length.
It’s not an issue in this case, but if the second disc had a type of Feature that the first didn’t, would I tick the relevant box for it for the profile for the first one in terms of submitting it? I’m assuming no, but I thought I’d ask. (In other words, are Features specific to individual discs, or to an overall package?)
