The collection transfer screen shows the number of transferred profiles, irrespective of your "Count As" settings.

In other places , such as the online data and Owned/Wish List/Ordered tabs and so on, the numbers do reflect your Count As choices, for example for parent and child profiles or multiple discs in a profile.

If you are using the "Count as"-feature you must keep in mind the difference between a Title and a Profile! The tabs show the numbers of Titles, the transfer screen shows Profiles as Staid already pointed out.

If you want to quickly check how much profiles you have switch to the All-tab and press Ctrl&a. This will flag all profiles and show you the number at the bottom of the DVD Profiler window.
(To undo the flags: Shift&Ctrl&u)

If you are not using Count-As you are in need of either an exorcist or a database repair.

I get exactly the same problem
I have been uploading my data for several years without any issues

Today it stated I have 1555 titles when I only have 1255
I have not altered anything. I only have owned stuff in my list as I have zero entries for everything else.

This problem has arrived at exactly the same time as another issue which is that the system will not update the profiles anymore

The scanning bar and overall bar fill up and then it just hangs at that point. I can cancel out but no updates are done.



Update

Ok running a DB repair has solved both issues.
(I should have read more topics before posting  )
