I have several disks added by EAN or title that do not have cover art online but there are profiles for the same movie online that do. For example if I add a rental copy of a movie by EAN then it may be missing cover art but there are one or more copies on the retail version of the film online that have the exact cover art that I need.

Is there any way I can download just the cover art of a related movie and use it with my version of the film? I know the easiest way would be just to delete my copy and add the EAN of a similar copy that does have cover art but then I have to re-enter all my personal data (purchase info etc). Not to bad for just one film but I have quite a few to edit.

I don't have easy access to a scanner so really rely on the online images.

Thanks
Brian

Download the EAN of the copy that has cover images as well.

- Select the profile with the images.
- Right click on the front cover ---> copy
- Select the rental profile
- Right click on the front cover ---> paste

Now repeat the same for the back cover.

Or even easier..

- Right click the profile with the images --> Copy
- Right click the rental profile -- > Paste -- > select Cover Images

I recently discovered an odd ball title that was in the data base that had some profile but NO images  except the standard white No Image cover art .. This odd ball editon had differant upc as the regular editon therefore back scan was unique to the popular one .. But the front scan was exactly the same as the popular version .. I copy and pasted the front scan to both front and Back of the profile and submitted with notes explaining  " until someone scans proper art into database this will suffice until then"

.. After 6 days and NO votes  it was accepted and is now in the database .... ( and no I did not own this,, it was to be a wishlist item ) ..
