You don't get your own images when you download from the online profiler. You need to backup your DB on one computer and transfer that file to the other to restore all of your customisations including data.

I figure I'd ask here rather than start up a new thread....

I have NO IDEA what happened to the images!  I just logged on and the space where all the images should be is text (title name) and it's in red.

On another note, there's a few images that appear not to exist, at least, not in my little database area.  But when I got online, and clicked on it, I could see an image there.  Whilst on my profile offline, it's all white with the title present, and the image that should be present in the upper right hand corner is a shield with a "?" saying "Image not available" and yet...there they are online.

I'm all sorts of confused!!!  Thanks for any help for a clueless bastard!

Hi,
just some questions in advance:
1. The pictures don't show in your local, or in your online database?
2. What have you done last with DVDPro before the pictures disappeared?
3. Which version do you use?
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Ummmm....
1.  In your local, you mean just from my desktop, non-online stuff?  If so, yes, pics don't show "offline."
2.  As far as I know...I added another 15 to 20 discs, and then I downloaded so that both online and offline collections have the same count.
3.  I obtained it sometime in the last two weeks I think....Profiler 3 I believe.

so the images aren't showing up in the program? That is strange.
There's an option in the "Online" menu, to "Refresh All Images" - does that help?

Firstly, make sure that you have entered the Account Registration information in DVD Profiler exactly as provided in the confirmation E-Mail from Invelos.

Next, in DVD Profiler go to Tools -> Options -> Display and select High Quality from the DVD Cover Image Quality area.

Finally, in DVD Profiler go to Online -> Refresh All Images.

If these steps do not work you need to check your account information entries in DVD Profiler.

Laff...this quote within a quote within a quote within a quote is getting bit ridiculous!

Step 1: as far as I can tell, I'm logged in just fine.  All images here online are visible.
Step 2: started to do this one, and then saw that High Quality was already highlighted.
Step 3: did this, and now images in the upper right hand corner are visible.  However, the images in the "Collection List" are still just highlighted red and have text in them.  When I click on another title, the larger image comes up, nothing in the Collection List.

Curious...and a bit of a pain, as I enjoy having it selected as "View as Thumbnails," which clearly doesn't look all that good in all red.  Laff...

Slowly but surely, we're getting there...

OK, if I'm reading you right you've got your large images back but not your thumbnails.
Try this:
Right click on the "View as Thumbnails" button at the top of your Collection List and choose the "Rebuild Thumbnails" option, see if that brings them back.

If rebuilding your thumbnails doesn't work, try performing a database repair.

Try performing a database repair. In DVD Profiler -> Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Repair DVD Profiler Database.
