Happy New Year to all.

I currently have a number of religious and salsa films in my database which I uploaded as contribution to the database. As of today I am not sure if the Invelos team which reviews contributions have added them to the database.

Does DVD Profiler support music and religious DVDs or only fims?

A DVD is a DVD.  If you've submitted some you can look on this page (http://www.invelos.com/MyProfiler.aspx?display=contributions - available from the "database" button at the top of any page on the site) to see the status of those you've submitted in the last 30 days.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

Happy New Year too!

The program supports DVD, BluRay and HD DVD disks in its online database. These have to be published with a valid EAN / UPC code for proper identification. Content is no issue, 'Genre' is useful but not an identifying item. Anything not explicitly listed can be tagged as 'special interest'. For protection of minors, set any media with 'adult' content to the appropriate flags.

Other types of media, whatever these contain can be registered in your local db, but cannot be contributed to the online database. On the audio and audiovisual side, that means LaserDisk, CD, Super8, etc. Some have used it to document their wine collection or comic book collection!

The majority of contributed profiles is certainly slanted towards films and TV series. That is not a characteristic of the program but more of its user base. I have numerous music and some dance DVD's and these have been contributed as well.

My son gave me an Opera Blu-Ray for Xmas that is not in the database. Not being an experienced contributor, I am nervous, but I might give it a shot (Berlioz Les Troyens - Royal Opera House 809478071136)
