Hi All

So over the past few months I have scanned covers and added runtimes etc for around 100+ DVDs in my collection that are not available in the online database.

I'd now like to know if there is a way that I can search, filter or tag etc anything in my local collection which doesn't match the online database and then contribute all changed profiles?

Even if I can just find all locally changed profiles into a flag set or something and go from one by one contributing them its doable its just I'm not sure what has and hasn't changed locally as I've not kept a record of which DVDs I have changed.

Thanks
Ben

If you have Disc-ID's that are in different boxes the same and you have them only local with the correct scans, release and others, you may now change it under DVD - Change UPC, then clone it and it will make a profile with #1 at the end, You can only change it or tell keep old profile and make a clone. This you can then contribute and add to your box. So it is now possible to have the same Disc-Info in different boxes with the correct data and scans.

Don't know how to find those, think we must go through the boxes to find them. Somebody did just for Germany the Bond 50 box, as many of those childprofiles where already in other boxes and could not be contributed until now.

Hi

These are all individual films/dvds added by UPC, a few don't exist at all online, but many do exist with basic profiles but no cover scans for example - its these ones that I have added cover scans to, or as I say in some examples I have added a UPC thats not there at all at the moment.
I need a way to compare my local db with the online db and flag any changes that have been made locally so I can then contribute

Thanks
Ben

For profiles with no scans online you best find it in your online database. Go through it and you see which profiles show no Covers, then you can contribute those.

In the future, you can create a tag, and tag each profile as you make changes to it for future contribution.
