| Posted: | | | | I've seen a couple of submissions, at least one of which I've "corrected", that puts the season info in the edition box, eg. Title: Arrested Development Edition: Season Two Surely this is wrong, and it should all be in the Title box? |

Title: Arrested Development Edition: Season Two
Surely this is wrong, and it should all be in the Title box? Right, it should all be in the title box. Rule: Quote: The title for a Box Set should be the title listed on the Front Cover; for example The Andy Griffith Show. Season indicators, if listed on the cover, should be entered as part of the title, not the description. e.g. Angel: The Complete First Season. | | | ...James

| Posted: | | | | There are quite a few of these. I think it was some type of a bug in the contribution process at the very beginning, like the duplicate cast issue. I voted on one earlier where someone was correcting the title and I had submitted the profile I know it wasn't like that when I submitted it. Good news is it only seems to be on TV Child profiles...and they're not even supposed to be there to begin with |

| Posted: | | | | Cool, thanks for the replies guys! There is a submission to Arrested Development that corrects the problem, I just wanted to check that both that submitted - and I - were doing the right thing |

| Posted: | | | | I've noticed this too. Also someone had region 2 cove scans for region 1, they had EANs numbers instead of UPCs. I've corrected those I've found, their waiting approval. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it. | Posted: | | | | I've noticed an unfeasibly large number of profiles where the Edition/Dist Trait is missing and suspect it has been stripped in translation to 3.0 (unless someone who always removes Dist Trait locally has forgotten this is wrong for the central database and has been uploading a lot of titles...) | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

I think the latter it the reason so many profiles lost the dist trait. In the tidal wave of contribution on starting the new db, some of the new profiles submitted were old (not matching IVC latest profile) or had dist trait removed (a preference many people have). In the interest of builiding the database fast, I guess this is not a real problem, over the course of the next few weeks I'm confident most of them will get fixed. | | | Kevin |

| Posted: | | | | I also see the latter being the case. And if you look at all the contribution notes for those profiles, you may find a pattern | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |
