Any chance of having it added as a genre?

I dont personally have that many (yet) but I feel like its a glaring omission from the genre list, and is definitely something that people would like te be able to track in their collection.

Me too!

Hey, Hal! You gonna bring over your Fox Film Noir and Fox Studio Classics threads from IVS?

Good idea.  I hadn't even thought about it.

I think the more generic "Crime" genre is needed even more.

I would support adding both Film Noir and Crime Genres.

I would definetly support that!   Film-Noir and Neo-Noir is a must.
Film-noir is my most wanted missing genre in DVD-Profiler.

Here's my top 4 most wanted genre additions;

- Film-Noir
- Neo-Noir
- Crime
- Stand-Up-Comedy

Rather than "Film Noir" and "Neo-Noir", there could just be a single "Noir" genre (or put "Neo-Noir" under "Film Noir").

Another sorely missing genre is "Shorts" for short film compilations.
