It sounds like the plug-in generates and/or uses an XML file which has an error on line 504, character 20.

The easiest and most likely place for this to happen is in the Overview or Notes. Sometimes people copy text that includes invalid characters, such as printer "Form Feed" Hex 12.

Look at this table.  Except for LF and CR, many of these codes below Hex 32 (space) will cause problems in XML.

If you can isolate the profile that contains the error, try editing the Overview and Notes. Be suspicious of what appears to be extra spaces that might in fact be non-printable characters not legal in XML.

Try loading the XML into ProfilerQuery. When I was working with Gunnar a few months back, he caught and fixed a couple like this. If it loads into that one, maybe save it out again, and that might purge the bad character(s).
Thanks for your support.

Ah, I suspected a user editable field such as Overview and Notes, but I forgot about Location and Slot.
