| Posted: | | | | Roger Corman's House of Usher is also known as the Fall of the House of Usher/ 79 min starring Vincent Price.. i see the title The House of Usher same year same actors is in the National Film registry top 400.
Which title is which ? our Data base only holds Fall of the House of Usher,, but NFR only lists House of usher with a poster The House of Usher ..
anyone shed any light on this mystery ?

| Posted: | | | | Not sure I understand your question, but it seems House of Usher is the original title for Roger Corman's 1960 release which is based off of Edgar Allen Poe's short story "The Fall of the House of Usher". However, The Fall of the House of Usher is an alternate title for Corman's work and is the title that was used in the UK. It seems past media releases have used "The Fall of the House of Usher" for their media releases; maybe to also capitalize off of those familiar with Poe's short story. |
