For those of you that don't know.... Danae Cassandra is my roommate/(chosen) sister.  And also for those of you that don't know... I am not ... lets just say much of a music fan!

But damn if Danae Cassandradidn't convince me to watch all 10 episodes of Ken Burns Jazz

How am I expected to make it through so much Jazz documentary?

Seriously though... even if the topic wasn't ideal for me.... Ken Burns does an amazing job with documentaries... now just need to watch one that is more to my tastes! Did ken Burns do oneon the history of horror movies? But yes even the Jazz one is right interesting

It's a pretty amazing documentary, and I learned a lot about jazz that I didn't know, though as I'm composing my review over at letterboxd, the biggest issue is the intense focus on the first six decades, and how it falls down on jazz after 1960.

As for Pete, you know you enjoyed it!  Or, at least, if you didn't, it's your own fault for putting it on the list!    I'd say you could get some revenge and we'd watch Navy Seals vs. Zombies together, but you already watched it without me!

I love Ken Burns, and I'm looking forward to us watching Vietnam and The Civil War in the future!

Who knows, I like Ken Burns enough that I might even watch Baseball at some point, and sports are really not my thing.

I don't which Burns' documentaries you've seen, but Frank Lloyd Wright, Not for Ourselves Alone & Lewis & Clark are all pretty spectacular.

Not for Ourselves Alone was the first one I saw.  Great doc.  I have the other two to watch at some point, but haven't gotten around to them quite yet.
